About Our Medical Students
Jesse Loughlin is a third year medical student at UMass Medical school. He grew up on the South Shore in Rockland, Massachusetts, and attended Bowdoin College in Maine. He received a degree in Biochemistry, and was a 4 year member of the varsity baseball team. After graduating, he worked for two years as a clinical research coordinator in the Surgical ICU at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, before applying to medical school. During med school, Jesse has been involved in the Rural Health Scholars Program, and was able to work in small hospital in Montana after his first year. Outside of class, Jesse enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time outside.
