About Our Medical Students
Malini Chinta is a third year medical student from Boston University School of Medicine. She grew up in Pleasanton, California and traveled to Boston to begin her undergraduate career. She graduated with a degree in Medical Sciences and a minor in psychology, and she also spent one semester studying abroad in London at a combined health sciences/psychology internship program. She graduated in 2015 and matriculated to medical school. After her first year of medical school she spent a part of her summer working at a non-profit hospital for cleft lip/palate reconstruction in Hyderabad India, where she worked as volunteer and observer. She hopes to one day practice as a craniofacial plastic surgeon, but she is looking forward to working in an outpatient setting and getting exposure to adult primary care medicine. Outside of her studies she enjoys running, trying out different restaurants/cuisines in Boston, and travelling abroad whenever she has the time.
