About Our Medical Students
Kelly Flanagan is currently a 3rd year medical student at UMass Medical School. She is excited to join the Scituate Family Practice Team, get to know patients and families, and work with the team. Kelly is originally from Boxboro, MA and went to Tufts for undergrad. Kelly has enjoyed her internal medicine and pediatrics rotations so far, so is excited to continue caring for both children and adults in family medicine during this rotation. Prior to medical school, Kelly worked as a biomedical engineer at a medical device start-up and also at a healthcare consulting firm. Outside of work and school, Kelly loves to run (not so much in the winter!), hike, bike, and read. She's looking forward to learning family medicine from a great team and getting to know the Scituate area!
Dan Leslie is currently a 3rd year medical student at Boston University School of Medicine. He is originally from Atlanta GA, but he fondly remembers visiting his family on the South Shore and the
Boston area since childhood. He went to Colorado State University for undergrad, then onto the University of Virginia for a PhD in Chemistry. He moved to Boston for a research position in
bioengineering to develop medical devices to treat blood infections and blood clots at the Wyss Institute. He is honored to be part of the Scituate Family Practice Team and excited to get to know the community. Dan loves hiking and camping in New England and spending time with his spouse and two children.
